Insurance has introduced an improved specialist insurance solution designed to meet the core needs of clients in the education sector.
The company’s enhanced education insurance product includes a range of covers along with additional, optional covers and standalone policies.
Adrian Saunders, commercial director at Ecclesiastical, said the latest product is “truly tailored and provides all of the essential covers that education clients need.”
“It also enables us to offer a selection of optional covers for those with more specific needs,” he said.
Alongside the traditional covers, Ecclesiastical is offering the following:
- Business Interruption (BI) cover as standard
- £1 million worth of libel and slander cover as standard
- Access to a crisis helpline if an incident could lead to a reputational crisis
- A ‘Green Clause’ covering environmental improvements to buildings following insured damage up to £500,000
New optional covers include hirer’s liability cover for groups and organisations that hire the premises. Fidelity cover is also available for protection against dishonesty of employees and professional indemnity for governors, trustees and management.
Ecclesiastical also offers standalone cover for cyber and group travel to education clients.
The newly enhanced product will replace Ecclesiastical’s existing policy for new business and renewals from December 1. It is backed by the insurer’s specialist valuation and risk management expertise.
