Global reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker Ed has announced the appointment of Niraj Perera (pictured) as head of transactional risk in its professional and executive risk team.

Perera has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a particular focus on M&A insurance. In his new role, he will focus on providing insurance solutions in M&A transactions including warranty and indemnity, tax liability, and contingent liability. Prior to joining Ed, Perera held positions at Arthur J. Gallagher, Willis and Marsh.
