Ian Burford – who in February 2020 was appointed as chief executive of Fidelis Underwriting Limited, or UK CEO at Fidelis Insurance – is moving to Argenta Syndicate Management Ltd (ASML) upon completion of his current contractual obligations.
In a release, ASML said Burford is joining the Lloyd’s managing agency as active underwriter of Syndicate 2121 and SPA 6134, as well as underwriting director in his capacity as ASML board member.

The Novae alumnus will bring more than three decades of underwriting and portfolio management experience to ASML – whose parent company, Argenta Holdings Ltd, is a subsidiary of Hannover Re.
