Already established as chair of the audit committee at Covea Insurance, Jane Dale (pictured) has now expanded her list of responsibilities with the new position of non-executive director (NED) and chair of the governance and audit committee of the board at GRP’s operating company.

Taking up the role from the start of January, Dale’s arrival marks the insurance intermediary’s second NED hire in quick succession – following on from the appointment of Mark Hepsworth in December.

“I am delighted to secure someone of Jane’s calibre for this important position within the group,” said OpCo board chairman Andy Homer.

“Her skill set and industry knowledge makes her a valuable addition to our highly experienced team of non-executive independent directors on GRP’s board.”

Dale has an extensive background in the industry, having also been a finance director at AIG from 2011-2015, and having held senior positions with the likes of Legal and General and Genworth Financial.

“GRP is already a leading player in UK broking and I am looking forward immensely to playing my part in supporting the management team steer the business towards ever greater success,” she said.
