It’s a familiar face who will soon take the chief financial officer role at Hiscox London Market.
Christian Nielsen, currently the CFO of Hiscox UK and a director at Hiscox Insurance Company Ltd. will now become CFO of Hiscox London Market and Hiscox Syndicates Limited (HSL). He originally joined the firm back in 2015, when he made the switch from Barclays, and has since played a key role in a number of key regulatory and operational initiatives – including Brexit preparations.
In addition, Nielsen is a Hiscox partner and a member of the group’s finance leadership team. He will make the switch to his new role from September when he will report to Kate Markham, CEO of Hiscox London Market.
Meanwhile, in his capacity as CFO for HSL he will report into Hiscox Group CFO Aki Hussain who described him as an “excellent addition to a business “poised for growth.”
“He brings strong commercial and financial leadership and a track record of delivery which will benefit both the London Market and HSL management teams,” Hussain said.
