Vicky Ferrier (pictured), group director of talent and capability at The Very Group, has been appointed as a non-executive director (NED) at chartered commercial broker Konsileo.
“I welcome Vicky to the board and look forward to her valued contributions and cross-industry insight,” said co-founder and chief executive John Warburton, whose camp is set to continue its expansion and further develop Konsileo’s proprietary broking platform after completing a £4.7 million Series A funding round earlier this year.
Konsileo employs 90 people across the UK, placing £25 million of premium on behalf of clients.
Commenting on her appointment, Ferrier noted: “Konsileo had been on my radar for a while as part of the future of work movement. Treating professionals like grown-ups and rewarding their work appropriately was always going to make for a valuable employment proposition.
“Spending time with the team it became clear how its collaborative, non-hierarchical culture also delivers for clients in spades. I’m excited to be supporting the board to support Konsileo’s next phase of growth.”
A trained executive coach, the new NED brings more than three decades of experience to the post.
