The Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) has new directors for operations and finance.

Appointed as operations director, effective May 01, is Rob Myers while Paul Davenport will assume the role of finance director at the end of March. The latter’s more than 25 years of insurance industry experience includes serving as international chief financial officer at The Navigators Group and as finance director at Chubb Insurance Company of Europe.

Myers, who has been operating as an independent consultant for the last year, started his career at the Corporation of Lloyd’s. His credentials include time spent at the likes of Xchanging and DXC Technology.

“I am pleased to welcome Rob Myers and Paul Davenport to the LMA,” commented chief executive Sheila Cameron. “Both bring with them a huge wealth of experience and understanding of the Lloyd’s insurance market.

“Their expertise will add fresh impetus to the LMA’s priorities, including working with our members as they navigate the market’s digitisation journey and understanding how we can become a more future-focused marketplace.”
