Lloyd’s broker LONMAR GLOBAL RISKS (LONMAR) has appointed three-decade industry veteran Charles Ross as executive director for the Lonmart fine art & specie division.

Reporting to Lonmart managing director Aqua Sanfelice, the highly experienced broker and business producer will be involved in developing new opportunities with a particular focus on reinsurance.

“This recruitment continues our ongoing strategy of strengthening our capabilities and in particular adds important reinsurance expertise for our core product lines,” said Sanfelice.

She believes Ross – who is excited about joining Lonmart and working alongside the fine art & specie division – will be a great addition to the team.

Lonmart provides insurance risk solutions for clients including owners, large multinational galleries, and dealers of fine art, as well as jewellers and shippers of high-value goods.
