The Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA) has continued its appointment spree this year by welcoming Helen Ferris (pictured) to its team as its new head of communications and digital strategy, a timely decision as companies turn to remote work amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before joining the MGAA, Ferris was the head of communications and marketing at JLT Re. She has had an extensive career in marketing, having held senior positions at NIIT Insurance Technologies and Moore Stephens Consulting.

In her new role, Ferris is expected to drive forward the MGAA’s digital offering and enhance communications with its 248 members.

Mike Keating, the managing director of the MGAA, said the new role would help the association improve engagement with its existing membership base and bolster its regional representation.

“I’m really pleased to welcome Helen to the association. With a strong background in digital marketing and communications, her skillset and knowledge are very attractive to the association as we look for new ways to engage with our existing and future members and develop a stronger digital footprint to reflect the needs of MGAs today,” Keating said.
