PIB Employee Benefits – a member of the PIB Group – has appointed Tony Powis (pictured) to the role of non-executive chairman.

Powis brings over 30 years of financial services experience to his new role. He has held numerous senior positions across the industry, including as chairman, CEO, and head of sales within companies such as Willis Employee Benefits, in regions including the UK and abroad.

A release said that Powis’s appointment was a reflection of PIB Employee Benefits’ expansion plans, as the firm grows through organic and acquisitive growth. The company also has plans for “a more global approach to benefits” through the increased use of technology.

“I’d like to give a very warm welcome to Tony as our non-executive chairman at PIB Employee Benefits. His experience will play a key part in supporting our senior team and future expansion, while at the same time providing a further level of oversight within the business,” said PIB Employee Benefits managing director David Skinner. “We will really benefit from Tony’s invaluable experience to help strengthen our offering further and to continue building a strong, sustainable business.”

I am looking forward to supporting David and the existing team of experienced industry leaders to deliver against their ambitious growth strategy and plans,” commented Powis on his appointment, additionally noting that Skinner and the rest of the PIB Employee Benefits leadership team has a “clear vision” for the business.
