Lloyd’s syndicate Probitas 1492 has appointed Marcus Bale as head of strategy and development for retail.
An active underwriter at ProSight Specialty Insurance prior to joining Probitas, Bale will be in charge of expanding the underwriting syndicate’s retail portfolio. His industry know-how spans the areas of strategy, business development, underwriting management, and product innovation.

Probitas specialises in property, construction, and casualty insurance and reinsurance solutions. The syndicate underwrites risks across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Canada.
