Salesforce UK & Ireland boss leaving post after six months – reports

It seems like only yesterday that Insurance Business reported on the appointment of Dame Jayne-Anne Gadhia as UK and Ireland chief executive of Salesforce… now, if reports are to be believed, it looks like the former Virgin Money CEO will be calling it quits after coming onboard the customer relationship management (CRM) business just last October.

According to Sky News, Salesforce will be making an announcement today (March 13) about Gadhia’s sudden exit, which won’t be too far apart from Keith Block’s departure as Salesforce co-CEO last month. It was revealed in February that Marc Benioff was going to be chair and chief executive of the group while Gavin Patterson was named president and CEO of Salesforce International.

Fast forward to March and, reportedly, we’ll see Gadhia become an advisor to the California-headquartered enterprise, the portfolio of which includes insurance CRM offerings. Block, notably has also remained as an advisor to Benioff.

As for Gadhia, who in 2016 was tapped to serve as Women in Finance Champion of the British government, a Sky News source pointed to the idea of the Dame focussing on her start-up Snoop.
