There are now two managing directors at Henry Seymour & Co Insurance Brokers.

Teaming up with current MD Dean Laming is company stalwart Darragh Timlin in his new capacity as joint managing director. In a statement sent to Insurance Business, the Sutton-based broker cited the firm’s continued growth as behind the decision to revise Henry Seymour & Co’s organisational structure.

“The appointment of a second managing director will bring stability and increased resilience during a time of significant expansion for the business,” noted the brokerage, which also highlighted the increase in online trading.

Prior to his promotion, the former underwriting director had worked closely with Laming throughout his more than 12 years with Henry Seymour & Co.

“Darragh has been welcomed into his new position by the management and staff, and we wish him a long and successful future at Henry Seymour & Co,” said the business – the name behind insurance brands such as Salon Gold and Tradesman Saver.

Led by chair and chief executive Paul Kaye, Henry Seymour & Co has been assisting clients since 1984.
