Sutton Winson (SW) has announced the appointment of Joe Perry as a director and board member, pending FCA regulatory approval.

Perry has been with SW since July 2011, beginning his career as an account technician. Over the years, he has advanced to the role of head of corporate, development and international.

SW welcomed the appointment, highlighting Perry's focus on developing new business and cross-referral opportunities which it says has contributed to the company's successful organic growth and the achievement of its long-term strategic goals.

Perry holds the Advanced Diploma in Insurance and the Fellowship, the highest professional qualifications in the field. He advocates for personal development and continuous improvement, setting high standards within the company.

In his new role as director, Perry will continue to lead SW’s corporate teams and oversee sales and marketing. He will focus on enhancing SW's specialisms, including international capabilities, and driving sales across the business.

“We’re delighted to have Joe join our board as a director,” managing director Gareth Roberts said. “Joe's track record in leading teams, driving sales, and his strategic vision make him an invaluable addition to our leadership team. His expertise will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and success of SW.”

Perry expressed his gratitude and excitement for his new role, stating it is a proud moment in his career to help lead a business he has been part of for so long.

“It's a rewarding and proud moment in my career to have been trusted to help lead a business that I've been part of for so long. I’m excited to continue our journey as part of Acrisure and achieving our plans for further growth,” Perry said.

Perry’s appointment follows another director and board member hiring, with Neil Hobbs named in the same role back in March.
