Simon Cuthbert (pictured) has been promoted from regional business manager to the role of senior account development manager, technical, at Allianz Insurance.
The company veteran, who has been with the insurer for more than two decades, was most recently in charge of the northern region for Allianz Engineering.
“Simon’s extensive knowledge of the business and the wider engineering market makes him an invaluable member of the team,” commented special services manager Steve Ford. “Having worked at Allianz for over 22 years, I have every confidence that he will build upon the existing strengths of the account development management team and grow our capabilities in this key area of the business.”
Cuthbert and his team will look after a portfolio of Allianz’s clients, with a particular focus on statutory legislation while delivering first-class bespoke service.
“Being able to fulfil this position from within demonstrates the strength of our talented workforce,” added Ford.
