Former HomeServe claims director Paula Homan is now director of engineering services at HSB Engineering Insurance.

Homan, whose credentials include years spent at Norwich Union (now Aviva) and solicitor firms, has been tapped to spearhead the activities of HSB’s engineering inspection services division in the UK and Ireland. Among the senior roles she previously held are transformation head and chief operating officer.

“Paula brings a wealth of experience successfully managing large teams,” noted HSB managing director Stephen Worrall. “Her strategic focus and expertise in operational performance and customer experience will be a fantastic asset to HSB.”

Aside from the effective delivery of engineering inspection customer services, the new director’s remit will also encompass the development and implementation of business strategy and growth as well as operational leadership of the company’s engineering field force.

“Our inspection service is a key part of our business, and ensuring service delivery and customer service excellence is pivotal to its success,” said Worrall.
