Underwriting hires Darren Pugh and Lance Carter are the latest additions to the NMU roster.

Pugh and Carter specialise in engineering insurance and cargo & freight liability, respectively. Together, they bring more than 50 years of industry experience to NMU.
“I’m looking forward to this exciting new challenge, particularly working with new colleagues and providing brokers with the seamless personal service and tailored solutions that NMU is so well known for in the market,” stated Pugh, an Allianz veteran whose insurance career began in 1996 at Scottish Boiler.
More recently, the engineering underwriting expert focussed on areas such as contractors’ all risks and plant and machinery movement.
