Loss adjustor QuestGates has set its sights on a much-improved cyber adjusting service with the addition of a host of new specialist partners.

“We have been operating a cyber claims and incident response service for a number of years now, utilising our existing in-house adjusting and forensic accountancy expertise to provide a tailored service depending on the client’s needs such as 24/7 incident response, on-site investigation of causation, expert policy coverage advice, coordination of quantum and determining potential avenues of subrogation and risk management,” said Glen Donaldson, division director – specialist services, QuestGates.

“Our expanded panel of expert partners supplements our in-house expertise as well as providing support where we do not have the required skill-set internally. Our 24/7 claims reporting line has always allowed us to respond immediately to any incident and this service is now expanded globally through the vrs network with additional specialist hubs in Europe and North America.”

The panel now adds both Envista Forensics and Grant Thornton. It is hoped they will help provide an immediate incident response and remediation service following a cyberattack.

Meanwhile, the firm is also working with both Beale & Co and Kennedys, in case clients require legal services.

“We can now offer a full range of support when it comes to managing cyber claims from the traditional loss adjusting to incident response and remediation or an all-encompassing outsourced proposition worldwide,” said Donaldson. “This flexibility means that clients can utilise our expertise as potentially a more appropriate and competitive option to investigate and manage their cyber claims.”
