To celebrate International Women's Day, the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and the Personal Finance Society have announced an upcoming online event titled “Inspire Inclusion: Women in Insurance & Personal Finance.”

Scheduled for March 13 at 11:00 am GMT, this celebration will be hosted on the ON24 platform. Interested professionals can register here.

This occasion is supported by key EDI partners including WCI iWIN, ISC Group, St James's Place Financial Adviser Academy, and the Association of British Insurers. They encourage industry professionals to register and participate in this important dialogue.

The event aims to shine a light on the contributions and achievements of women within the insurance and personal finance sectors worldwide. By showcasing the diverse and talented women who are paving the way for future generations, the CII and Personal Finance Society hope to inspire and foster further growth and inclusion within these professions.

The seminar will feature a distinguished panel of speakers, including Gill White CDir, FIoD, Chartered FCIPD; Carla Rolle-Stubbs, MBA, ACII; Danielle Lecomber APFS, LLB; Hazel Bowen; Kaishi Lee; Phabiola Menon; Maya Nundloll-André; and Vivine Cameron.

These industry leaders will discuss strategies to attract, engage, develop, and retain female talent. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the “Herstory” of career support and development, gaining insights on enhancing career paths for women at the individual, team, and organizational levels.

Moreover, the event aims to underscore the reasons why the insurance and personal finance sectors are ideal professions for women seeking to make a significant impact.

This online event also represents a pivotal moment for industry professionals to come together, learn from one another, and champion the role of women in insurance and personal finance. By fostering a culture of inclusion and diversity, the CII and Personal Finance Society are not only celebrating achievements but also laying the groundwork for future advancements in these fields.

In its pursuit of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), a new study on behalf of the CII and 11 other professional membership and regulatory organisations has warned that the momentum for the framework could be at risk unless immediate, substantive action is taken.
