Oneglobal gives energy sector a boost with senior recruit

As it looks to energise its own business, Oneglobal has swooped for a senior partner – energy.

The company has brought in Gavin Pickering, a broker with 18 years’ experience, to lead business production and relationship development. He makes the switch from Aon, where he was director of upstream energy, having also held roles at RKH, Marsh and JLT Group.

According to Oneglobal group CEO Mike Reynolds, it was crucial to bring in a senior expert who understands the business, while Pickering himself described his new employer as putting “the client at the heart of everything.”

He will officially make the switch once he has fulfilled his contractual notice period.
