Bishopsgate Insurance, part of The Ardonagh Group, has turned to a Windsor Insurance Brokers veteran.
Chris Meredew, who worked at Windsor for 18 years, has been appointed as Bishopsgate’s director for UK and international liability, oil & gas and marine trades.
“We are delighted to welcome Chris to the team,” commented Bishopsgate chief executive Neil Pearce, who himself served as managing director at Windsor for about two decades. “He has a wealth of experience in these specialisms, and we are excited at the opportunities Chris’ appointment to Bishopsgate will bring.”
Meredew’s insurance career of more than 35 years began at Furness Houlder. He also spent time at SBJ Marine & Energy and was most recently with RKH.
Classes covered by Bishopsgate include commercial liability, construction & engineering, motor fleet, professional indemnity, and terrorism. The Lloyd’s broker also specialises in jeweller’s block insurance.
