It looks like ARAG has been ‘tried and tested’ as it bags a further deal with long-time partner Chubb.
“It is 10 years since ARAG first started working with Chubb, over which time we have worked hard to deliver a first-class service across family, home emergency, motor breakdown, and high net worth business,” noted sales head Andy Talbot when it was announced that ARAG has been tapped to cater to another segment of Chubb’s clientele.
The new tie-up features the MasterPackage commercial insurance product, and will see the specialist provider offer legal protection and advice to Chubb policyholders. The legal expenses proposition includes access to ARAG’s business legal services website, crisis communications assistance, and executive covers designed for senior officers.
“It is always important for Chubb to work with partners that we can trust to deliver the level of service that our clients expect,” said Mark Roberts, chief underwriting officer (P&C) for UK & Ireland at Chubb. “ARAG has proved that over more than a decade, so we are very pleased to be extending our relationship with them into our commercial business.”
MasterPackage, which is Chubb’s mid-market commercial offering for businesses with turnover between £2 million and £500 million, has incorporated ARAG’s legal expenses cover into the recently launched media industry practice. Chubb’s other industry-specific practices will eventually follow suit.
