Broking network Brokerbility is now an Insurtech UK associate member, joining the likes of Aviva and Lloyd’s.

In an emailed release, the network of independent brokers said: “Brokerbility becomes Insurtech UK’s first broker network to join its community. Engaging with the insurtech community is a key area of focus for Brokerbility as it continues to develop its proposition across a broader cross-section of brokers…

“Associate membership of Insurtech UK opens up Brokerbility members to dynamic thinking and cutting-edge technology businesses. At the same time, Insurtech members will benefit from the skills and experience of high-quality Brokerbility members who have built sustainable and profitable brokerages.”

Members of the insurtech representative body, which was launched in 2018, will also gain access to Brokerbility resources and collaboration opportunities.

“We are delighted to join Insurtech UK whose members are at the forefront of innovation in the insurance industry,” Brokerbility managing director John Dunn commented. “This is a fantastic opportunity for both our members to collaborate and help each other in a rapidly changing insurance market.

“Brokerbility has a track record in supporting its members grow, so we are well-positioned to provide the tools and resources to help insurtechs scale their business. Importantly, this takes place in an environment where they can benefit from collective working, mentoring, and funding support.”

For Insurtech UK chief executive Melissa Collett, the addition of Brokerbility will prove “extremely valuable” to Insurtech UK members and partners.

Meanwhile new Insurtech UK members include Go-Insur, Grappler, ICE InsureTech, Innovative Risk Labs, InsurX, JGB Associates, Product Led Scaling, Qantev, Red Planet Software, Synapx, and Suyana.

FRISS, which recently came on board as a member, said in a release this week: “This strategic partnership aligns FRISS’s mission to foster collaboration, innovation, and growth within the insurtech ecosystem.

“By joining this esteemed network, FRISS aims to contribute its expertise in fraud prevention and risk management to advance the digital transformation of the insurance industry.”
