Insurance claims and technology solutions provider Charles Taylor has named Jennifer Hurst as EMEA sales director.

According to the company, the creation of the new role and Hurst’s appointment comes after Charles Taylor’s specialist technology arm enjoyed a “strong year of growth” in 2021.

As sales director, Hurst will be responsible for driving new sales and strengthening relationships with clients, by “embedding the company’s wide range of technology software and solutions into new markets across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa,” a release said.

Hurst has over 20 years of experience leading high growth sales teams and delivering value to clients through technology transformation, Charles Taylor said. She joins the company from Majesco, where she was sales director for EMEA. She has also worked for specialist technology brands such as Oracle and Symantec.

“We have ambitious plans for the next five years and building up the business in the EMEA region is a key part of this. Jennifer’s experience in the technology market, along with her specialist knowledge of the insurance market will be invaluable as we grow our business,” said Charles Taylor InsureTech CEO Arjun Ramdas.

“The focus on technology in insurance has never been greater and this is a time of real change in the industry,” said Hurst. “Charles Taylor has an excellent reputation for delivering specialist solutions for the insurance market and I’m looking forward to being part of the next phase of growth.”
