Open GI has named Paul Cole (pictured) as director of new business.
Effective this May, Cole will lead the company’s new business strategies across its broker solutions portfolio, including a new platform that will be launched later this year.
He will report directly to chief commercial officer Paul Thornton, who heads Open GI’s customer division.
Cole brings more than three decades of fintech and sales leadership experience to the company. Prior to joining Open GI, he served as head of business development at fintech firm Iress, where he led the new business department. Cole also held key sales positions at CGI Group, Intuitive Systems, and the Ministry of Defence.

Cole, meanwhile, expressed excitement about his new role, saying: “I am thrilled to be joining Open GI as the company significantly expands its technology portfolio.
