Suffolk-based PolicyBee will now move on to the national finals after being named regional employer of the year as part of the 2019 Chamber Business Awards organised by the British Chambers of Commerce.

“We are thrilled to be recognised as a good employer,” stated Iain Hatfield, chief executive of the digital insurance broker. “We pride ourselves on always putting our customers’ needs first and have a tight-knit, highly skilled team who live and breathe our company values.”

Meanwhile this year’s Chamber Business Awards will take place on November 28 in London.

Commenting further, Hatfield noted: “Our team is key to our success as a business and therefore employee development and retention is very important to us.

“We like to empower our people to be confident in representing our brand by having a clearly defined career path for every individual and take CPD (continuing professional development) seriously, providing in-house and formal training courses.”

The Ipswich firm, which came to life in 2011, specialises in business and charity insurance.
