It has today been announced that Peter Gregory, broking director of insurance tech giant SSP, will step down from his role and depart after more than two decades with the company.

Gregory entered SSP in a corporate business development role in 2009 and then climbed up the career ladder within the organisation over the last 20 years.

In 2020, SSP promoted Gregory to broking business director ahead of the launch of the SSP Broking platform, which was developed as part of a multi-million-pound investment programme designed to deliver improved technology to brokers in the UK and international markets.

In a Press release, it was noted that during his 20-year tenure, Gregory has been instrumental in growing SSP's broker business and, in recent times, heading up its marketing function. Now, he is ready to depart to pursue a new challenge.

“Peter has been a fantastic ambassador for SSP throughout his time with the business, and while we are all sad to see him leave, we wish him luck in the next chapter of his career,” SSP said in its statement.

Meanwhile, SSP is continuing to revise its operational structure with separate divisions for brokers and insure enabling greater visibility and quicker decision-making to benefit its customers.
