Stubben Edge Group has welcomed careless insurance as the newest addition to its appointed representative network.

Joining Stubben Edge’s AR network provides careless access to underwriters and an array of products. This strategic alliance positions the insurtech to effectively cater to the modern generation of consumers while also affording it a vital support network within the industry.

Established by André de Neergaard and Scott McKenna in 2022, careless is focussed on reshaping the insurance landscape through its AI-powered instant insurance quotes and cover management.

The business aims to make its mark by offering insurance coverage for customers’ possessions within moments of downloading the app – a rapid and user-friendly approach that serves digital consumers in search of a streamlined, technology-driven insurance experience.

De Neergaard, whose camp secured £225,000 in pre-seed funding in July, remarked: “Much like Stubben Edge, our mission is to demystify insurance, presenting it in a transparent and jargon-free manner.

“Today’s consumers demand convenient, personalised products and seamless claims processing, all accessible via their smartphones. It’s a straightforward concept, yet the industry has been slow to adapt.”

Stubben Edge network director Gemma Jarrett echoed De Neergard’s statement, saying: “We’re thrilled to unveil this partnership with a pioneering newcomer in the insurtech landscape.

“André and Scott bring a fresh perspective that radiates positivity. Their proactive approach carves out a space for previously underserved customers, delivering immense benefits for them.”

Earlier this month, the UK-based fintech also partnered with National Friendly to launch a new income protection product, the Accident Only Income Protection policy.
