Alliant Insurance Services has acquired Johnson Benefit Planning, an employee benefits consulting firm with offices in Bend and West Linn, Oregon.

The move is aimed at enhancing Alliant’s presence and capabilities across the Pacific Northwest. The company noted that Johnson Benefit Planning has a focus on both public and private sector employers. The firm was described as having deep expertise.

“Johnson Benefit Planning brings a long-standing legacy of excellence, trust, and forward-thinking strategy to Alliant,” said Greg Zimmer (pictured), CEO of Alliant. “Their personalized approach to consulting and dedication to creating lasting partnerships aligns perfectly with our values and enhances our ability to deliver targeted, effective solutions to clients.”

“Joining Alliant allows us to preserve our personalized, consultative approach while gaining access to a national platform with powerful resources and capabilities,” said Del Johnson, CEO of Johnson Benefit Planning. “We are excited to expand our impact while continuing to provide the thoughtful, tailored service our clients have come to expect.”

The company lauded Johnson’s expertise, noting his more than 50 years in the insurance industry. He was described as having built lasting client relationships as an advisor and partner to clients and colleagues in the industry. The entire Johnson Benefit Planning team will join Alliant; while the specific terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Alliant, celebrating a century in the insurance industry, is a specialty broker. It was recently named, by Insurance Business America, as being among the fastest growing insurance brokerages in the USA.
