Acrisure names industry veteran as strategic advisor

Insurance brokerage Acrisure has announced the appointment of industry veteran D. Michael Sherman to the position of strategic advisor. He will report to Acrisure chief executive and president Greg Williams.

Sherman has more than 40 years’ industry experience. He started honing his insurance expertise at Dawson Insurance, where he was named chief executive in 1986.

He pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Alma College in Michigan and has an MBA from Baldwin College in Ohio.

Acrisure serves the personal, small and middle markets with expanded products and services that are developed through organic growth and acquisitions.
