Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has announced the appointment of Frank Sapio as head of claims in North America. Sapio succeeds Terry Campbell, who will continue as an advisor to AGCS until July 2021.

Sapio was previously the regional head of liability and aviation claims in North America, which he will continue to oversee on an interim basis. A 30-year industry veteran, Sapio joined AGCS in 2014. Prior to that, he served in various claims management roles at Fireman’s Fund.

“Frank has been an integral member of the AGCS claims team for many years, and is well respected by colleagues, clients and peers. I look forward to working with him to make sure AGCS continues to exceed our clients’ claims experience,” said Bill Scaldaferri, president and CEO of AGCS North America. “I’d like to thank Terry for his 14 years of service to AGCS. We welcome his continued support in an advisory role over the next year.”
