Financial services and risk management company Alera Group has announced that it has acquired Duryea Agency, an insurance agency providing personal and business insurance for clients in New Jersey and the surrounding area. The acquisition strengthens Alera Group’s property and casualty position.

Duryea Agency has two locations in New Jersey. It offers products, coverage and service across several industries, including auto repair shops, small businesses, restaurants, golf courses and contractors.

Duryea Agency employees will continue in their existing roles. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
