Ames & Gough has named Jessie Witherow (pictured) as its new assistant vice-president - she will be based in the company’s Washington, D.C. office.

Witherow most recently served as a senior account manager for the brokerage. In that role, she was in charge of the company’s professional liability small-market program for architects and engineers throughout the mid-Atlantic region. She originally joined Ames & Gough in 2006. She is a licensed P&C insurance broker, and she continues her education in the P&C insurance field, a release noted.
