The workforce of Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd. will now be in the hands of Tony Cicio.

Appointed as chief human resources officer, Cicio brings more than three decades of experience to the international specialty insurer. His expertise as a strategic business leader is a combination of human resources and finance.

A former chief financial officer at The Dannon Company North America, the key arrival began his career in 1986 as an auditor at Deloitte. Cicio also held senior human resources roles at Danone, and prior to joining Argo was with Samsung Electronics where he served as vice president for human resources.

“Our longstanding commitment to invest in our people lies at the very core of Argo’s values,” commented chief executive Mark E. Watson III. “We continue to develop our employees to drive innovation and excellence with the conviction that our team gives us a competitive edge in today’s marketplace.

“Tony’s impressive track record in human resources, combined with his business and finance acumen, will help us further extend that talent advantage.”
