Christensen Group Insurance, headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, is now a partner of brokerage group Assurex Global. This integration extends the global partnership to include the company among the 101 independent brokerages within Assurex’s network.

The inclusion of Christensen Group Insurance aligns with Assurex Global's strategic goals to enrich its partnership offerings and sustain its ongoing expansion. The stringent criteria set for Partner Firms by Assurex Global ensures that clients consistently engage with the industry's top-tier professionals.

Originally established in 1952 as The Gene Christensen Agency, Christensen Group Insurance transitioned to being 100% ESOP-owned in 2005. Following the ESOP transaction, the company, which initially employed 50 individuals, embarked on a series of targeted add-on acquisitions, currently operating with a team of 210 across nine locations. The scope of Christensen Group's operations encompasses all lines of insurance and benefits, supplemented by its RIA subsidiary, Christensen Group Financial, LLC.

Asurex Global president and CEO Dean Hildebrandt expressed enthusiasm about the addition, stating, “We are pleased to extend a warm welcome to Christensen Group Insurance as a valuable member of the Assurex Global Partnership. Their impressive growth trajectory and strategic acquisitions underscore their commitment to excellence.”

Charlie Christensen, President & CFO of Christensen Group Insurance, also shared his anticipation for the collaboration with fellow Assurex Global Partner Firms, highlighting the collective potential to enhance client value and fortify the collective pool of expertise.

“We are excited about the significant progress this step signifies for our growth and the opportunity to work in tandem with exceptional peers within the Assurex Global network,” Christensen said.
