CRC Group has announced the appointment of Angela Alaniz (pictured above) to the role of chief digital officer for the wholesale specialty insurance distributor’s commercial solutions division.
Alaniz has been a part of CRC Group since 2010 and has served in various capacities, most recently as senior vice president of digital solutions, where she focused on enhancing the wholesaler's sales process through the development of proprietary digital tools. Before her role with CRC, Alaniz served as legal counsel and assistant vice president at Colemont Insurance Brokers (now AmWINS Group).
In February 2019, CRC Group initiated its data and analytics strategy by introducing its REDY platform, designed to empower the firm’s producers to provide enhanced insights and outcomes to clients by harnessing the organization's wealth of data. Under Alaniz's guidance, the REDY platform has continued to evolve, introducing new enhancements and features tailored to address the evolving needs of the insurance market.
“Our data and analytics strategy is not a new thing for us. From the beginning, we took a value-driven approach and have been developing our strategy, tools, and deliverables for years,” Alaniz said. “We are proving our value in this realm each day by providing better outcomes for clients, and we will continue to demonstrate our differentiation as we continue to build out new digital capabilities.”
“Our strategy is not just about our data and the amount we have amassed over the years; it is truly how we leverage data to deliver results to our clients throughout each interaction,” said Neil Kessler, president and chief operating officer at CRC Group. “Under Angela's leadership, we have been leading the way within our space on data and analytics. Each CRC producer is armed with actionable tools, like the REDY Index, go-to-market capabilities, and much more. I'm excited to see what the next chapter in our journey holds with Angela at the helm.”
