Global reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker Ed has announced the appointment of Assad Uhlaq as a senior broker and producer. In his new role, Ulhaq will focus on international property and facultative reinsurance, primarily in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Ulhaq has more than a decade of industry experience, most recently working at RFIB, where he was responsible for the placement of heavy industrial risks in the Middle East. He began his insurance career at Aon, specializing in property and special industrial risks in Australia, New Zealand, the Nordics, Benelux and South Africa.
