Insurance Brokers Incorporated (IBI), a wholesale insurance broker and general agency, has entered into an exclusive partnership with First Acceptance Corporation – a specialty auto insurance carrier.

The partnership will enable Indiana-based independent agents on the IBI agency network to access Acceptance auto insurance through a “streamlined, readily-available distribution outlet,” a release said.

“We are pleased to partner with IBI to introduce our Acceptance auto and ancillary products to Indiana Independent agents. This is our first venture into the independent agent channel in Indiana,” said Acceptance Insurance chief sales officer Ken Hampton.

“It is my pleasure to introduce Acceptance auto to Indiana independent agents. I believe Acceptance auto will immediately enhance agent portfolios,” added IBI president Glen Pomeroy.

“The opportunity to work with First Acceptance through various channels and platforms makes this a very exciting opportunity for both companies going into 2020.”

First Acceptance sells non-standard automobile insurance via 346 retail locations across 15 states.
