First Chicago Insurance Company (FCIC) has announced the launch of its personal auto insurance programs in the Kansas market, with endorsements available that provide coverage for vehicles on ride-sharing platforms.

According to Dave Alessi, regional sales and marketing director at FCIC, the insurer has developed several endorsements that can be added to the insured’s personal auto policy that allows them to customize additional coverage – including endorsements geared towards vehicles on ride-sharing platforms such as Uber and Lyft. FCIC also offers a business-use endorsement that provides additional coverage for workers who use their vehicle to visit multiple work sites.

Other features, such as low down payment and multiple installment payment options, are available to accommodate most budgets.

As a result we have been able to develop creative comprehensive insurance products to meet the specific needs of the Kansas market.
