Global insurance brokerage Hub International Limited has announced that it has acquired a motorsports book of business. In connection with the transaction, Hub has hired Darren Hickey, a sports and entertainment specialist.
Hickey, who is based in Indianapolis, will join Hub Southeast. His expertise in motorsports insurance will complement and strengthen Hub’s sports and entertainment specialty practice, the company said.
The announcement comes after Hub’s acquisition of a book of business from Fortenberry McNamara, a Mississippi-based employee benefits consulting firm.
