Insurance and reinsurance firms are continuing to build out their leadership ranks as they adapt to evolving market demands and client expectations.
Ames & Gough has promoted four team members in its Washington, DC office, reflecting its continued focus on professional service clients. Lauren Martin (pictured far left) and Jessie Witherow (pictured center left) have been named vice presidents, while Nicole Gonzalez (pictured center right) and Katie O’Brien (pictured right) have been promoted to assistant vice presidents.
Martin joined Ames & Gough in 2021 and previously spent nearly 35 years at CNA, most recently as A/E Platinum accounts director. Witherow, who leads the firm’s Premier Select Team, has been with the company since 2006 and holds the ARM designation.
Meanwhile, Gonzalez joined in 2015 and currently serves clients in the architects/engineers and associations/non-profits divisions. O’Brien, with more than 25 years of insurance experience, joined the firm in 2014 and has held various account executive roles.

Fidelis Insurance Holdings has named Anneeka Patel (pictured immediately above) as chief human resources officer. She will oversee HR operations across the company’s teams in Bermuda, the UK, and Ireland.
Patel joins from Deutsche Numis and has held senior HR roles at Canaccord Genuity, Pimco, and Russell Investments.

Everest Insurance, the insurance division of Everest Group, has appointed Josh Pillion (pictured immediately above) as US national distribution manager.
Based in Los Angeles, Pillion will report to Craig Hanrahan, head of field operations, North America.
In the role, Pillion will oversee the company’s national distribution strategy, focusing on strengthening broker relationships beyond Everest’s global partnerships and improving responsiveness across its US retail field operations.
Alliant Insurance Services has appointed Stephanie Beach as senior vice president in its employee benefits group. Based in Austin, Texas, Beach brings more than 25 years of actuarial and consulting experience focused on mid- to large-sized employers.
Beach, a credentialed actuary, previously served as a partner at a global consulting firm. Her areas of expertise include benefits program design, cost-containment strategies, and improving health outcomes.
