Insurance Technologies Corporation (ITC) has announced that the second annual InsurTech Scholarship is now open for applications, according to a news release.
ICT will award one $1,000 scholarship during the 2017-2018 school year to a college student who plans to work in the insurance agency upon graduation. Applicants for the scholarship must write a 1,500-word essay about the impact of technology on insurance agencies over the next five years, according to the release.
“The next generation is driving the changes that are occurring in the industry,” said ITC President Laird Rixford. “We’re excited to offer this scholarship program again to encourage students to join the insurance industry and help bring us into the future.”
Any current college student who wants to work in the insurance industry is eligible to apply. Applicants can submit their applications and essays at www.InsurTechScholarship.com. Applications must be submitted by September 15.
