Markel Corporation has won the ChamberRVA award for Best Young Professional Workplace in the large business category. ChamberRVA is the chamber of commerce for greater Richmond, Va.
The award recognizes organizations that excel in attracting, retaining and developing young employees. It was presented by HYPE (Helping Young Professionals Engage), ChamberRVA’s program for young professionals.
“This award is a testament to all that Markel is doing to become an employer of choice for talented people at all stages of their careers,” said Linda Schreiner, senior vice president of strategic management for Markel.
