Networked Insurance Agents (NIA) is expanding its footprint into Texas by opening cluster membership to property and casualty insurers.

The network will undertake its expansion in the state through its subsidiary Direct Access Insurance Services (DAIS).

For formal members of the DAIS cluster, the company said that it offers benefits such as improved market access, as well as enhanced revenue and policy servicing resources. Member agencies can also take advantage of higher commission rates and profit sharing opportunities.

“By expanding our footprint into Texas we can support the growth of more agencies as they compete and earn more on each opportunity through…access to leading carriers,”  DAIS executive vice president Larry Oslie explained in the statement.

DAIS currently writes a total of $400 million in premiums every year. As an NIA subsidiary, member agents are also eligible for additional business support solutions outside the cluster offering.
