Insurance consultancy and brokerage NFP has announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Arizona-based McCullough Insurance Agency. The transaction closed April 01, however, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the McCullough Agency to the NFP family,” Terry Scali, chief executive of NFP P&C, said in a wire report. “With more than 90 years of experience serving generations of families in Flagstaff and the broader southwest region, McCullough embodies values that are consistent with NFP’s business philosophy: integrity, respect, personalized service and professionalism.”

A BusinessWire report said that the acquisition is expected to bolster NFP’s property and casualty presence in the southwest region, where McCullough has established a strong presence by offering diverse product lines and expert-enabled servicing.

“We’re excited to join NFP’s national P&C platform and expand its offering in the southwest market,” said Mark McCullough. “We are also eager to leverage NFP’s vast expertise in the benefits area to provide more robust offerings to our customers.”
