ProSight Specialty Insurance has announced the hiring of Kevin Kenny as senior executive of strategic initiatives.

ProSight, headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey, offers property and casualty insurance through specialty distributors throughout the US.

Kenny is expected to oversee the development of new partnerships for the company.

“Kevin is an extremely accomplished executive who, throughout his career, has consistently demonstrated the ability to grow revenue and profit while delivering distinct value to customers,” said Joe Beneducci, founder and CEO. “Equally important, Kevin thoroughly understands the needs and challenges of our clients and is well positioned to help us forge new partnerships that will enhance our innovative approach to delivering value to our customers.”

Kenny, with more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance business, was most recently executive vice president of growth and business development and head of insurance brokerage and consulting at Wells Fargo.

Kenny said he had been impressed by ProSight’s rapid growth. “ProSight’s passion for innovation and their focus on helping customers reduce operational risk is impressive,” he said.

In addition to New Jersey, ProSight has offices in New York, California and London.
