The Worldwide Broker Network (WBN) has announced the launch of its Client Advisory Council, a new initiative led by CEO Olga Collins to influence the network’s strategic direction and strengthen its culture.

The council will focus on the continuous improvement of customer service throughout WBN’s ecosystem and maintaining close connections with the global insurance community to anticipate and respond to industry needs, the network said.

The council’s thought leadership includes clients, prospects and former clients of WBN and its members, from a mix of property-casualty and employee benefits professionals. The initial cohort will include risk management and employee benefits experts from global brands such as Bose, Intel, Amazon, MongoDB and others. They will meet regularly to share insights on market strategies to and to strengthen future initiatives, products, and service offerings, WBN said.

“The Client Advisory Council is a strategic global forum to develop innovative solutions to the most challenging issues that our network – and industry – is facing,” Collins said. “Sharing and learning from industry insights firsthand is invaluable in ensuring the needs of our clients remain front and center of everything we do in 2023 and beyond. The group also provides a networking opportunity for our clients who face complex global issues in their everyday business operations.”

The launch of the council is WBN’s latest move to bolster its network. Last month, the company appointed Steve Woods as global director of data, technology and security, and Liz Yovich as global director of engagement and employee benefits. In December, it appointed Alzbeta Gyulaffyova as global network coordinator.
