National wholesale insurance brokerage and managing general agent Worldwide Facilities has appointed industry veteran John Galaviz as its new chief financial officer.

Prior to his appointment at Worldwide Facilities, Galaviz served as CFO for Answer Financial, an Allstate company that provides online distribution for property and casualty insurance. He’s also worked in corporate development for Berkshire Hathaway company Symetra Financial and in investment banking with Lehman Brothers, Dillion & Read and Merrill Lynch.
