National wholesale broker and managing general agent Worldwide Facilities has appointed industry veteran George Vogle as senior vice president specializing in professional liability. Vogle will be based in Worldwide Facilities’ Atlanta office.

Vogle began his insurance career in 1977 as a casualty facultative reinsurance underwriter with General Reinsurance in Chicago. In 1981, he moved to Atlanta to join Bowring North America, a division of Marsh & McLennan, as a casualty surplus lines broker.

In 1998, Vogle left Bowring to join Swett and Crawford as a professional liability broker. In that role, Vogle focused on various lines of professional liability, including healthcare, cyber liability, and insurance agency E&O.

“We’re excited to welcome George to the team,” said Ronald Austin, president of Worldwide Facilities. “He brings extensive experience and specialized knowledge to the agents and brokers we work with.”
