The Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA) has announced the appointment of three new members of its board of directors.

Erin Dolan has been appointed as the U40 representative to the WSIA board for 2021-2022. Dolan is an immediate past president of WSIA’s U40 and also serves on the association’s education committee. She has nearly 20 years of industry experience, and currently serves as senior vice president of analytics and communications at RSUI.

Danny Kaufman has been appointed to fill the remaining term for Joel Cavaness, who has concluded his term as immediate past president. Kaufman serves as chief operating officer at Burns & Wilcox (one of the best insurance companies to work for in our annual poll) and executive vice president and board member at H.W. Kaufman Group. Prior to joining WSIA’s board, he served on the WSIA PAC.

Carlton Maner has been appointed to fill the remaining term for Bruce Kessler, who has retired from the board. Maner is CEO of AXIS US Division and serves as the company’s global property practice leader. He previously served on the legacy NAPSLO board and has been a member of WSIA’s membership and ethics committee. He currently serves as chair of the WSIA Diversity Foundation board of directors.

WSIA President David Moore said the association welcomed the new appointees.

“On behalf of the entire board of directors, I would also like to offer a sincere thank you to our outgoing directors for their service,” Moore said. “Liam Hutelmyer was an excellent representative for the U40 group last year, and we appreciate his perspective on the board. Bruce and Joel have also obviously been very impactful to the association, and we thank them for their longstanding commitment and leadership to the association and the board.”
